Roman banded mosaic glass Amphoriskos. Circa 1st century CE. 95 mm. A classical jug-shaped piece formed of a yellow, blue and white glass rods, with an applied elegantly scrolled handle and thick round base. Old repairs visible, but stable. Ex old English collection, property of a deceased estate.
